Africa-Press – South-Africa. The South African Weather Service issued an orange level 9 warning for disruptive rainfall, leading to widespread flooding, possible mudslides, rockfalls and soil erosion over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the eastern parts of Mpumalanga.
A yellow level 4 warning for disruptive rainfall was issued for the south-west of KwaZulu-Natal.
An orange level 5 warning for disruptive rainfall, affecting roads and bridges, was issued for Alfred Nzo, OR Tambo, Elundini, Sakhisizwe, Engcobo, Intsika Yethu, Mbhashe and Mnquma local municipalities of the Eastern Cape.
A yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain, leading to localised flooding, was issued for Gauteng in the early morning, as well as the south-west of Mpumalanga, parts of Limpopo and the Eastern Cape.
