Africa-Press – South-Africa. The missing Moraile twins and their aunt have been found safe and unharmed three days after they disappeared.

The three were found wandering around farms in Bloemfontein.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Thabo Covane said the five-year-old Moraile twins, Olerato and Orakilwe, and their aunt, Matronk Sylvia Majoro, 29, were reunited with their family on Wednesday.

The missing twins, their aunt joined by the police and community members.

According to the twins’ mother, Puleng Moraile, Majoro left her home with the children to buy vegetables from a nearby stall in Bergman Square, Bloemspruit, on 1 January.

They disappeared at around 14:00.

“The three are in good health. They have been positively identified and reunited with their family. They were found walking in a farming area. Communities aware of their disappearance played a role in finding the missing three.

“The SAPS joined the family, Bloemfontein Neighbourhood Watch and community policing forums and searched for the three missing persons since 1 January. Residents also played a crucial role in finding them. They collaborated well with the police and the family,” said Covane.

The three were taken for medical observation.

“We applaud everyone who assisted in the search. The family is happy and relieved. We thank all media houses and community structures who helped to spread the message,” Covane said.
