NEHAWU Criticizes Gauteng Health for Accepting Memo

Africa-Press – South-Africa. Trade Union National Education, Health and Allied Workers’ Union (NEHAWU) says senior officials of the Gauteng Health Department should be the ones to receive its memorandum of demands.

NEHAWU members are currently gathered outside the department’s head office in Johannesburg’s CBD, demanding that the health MEC address their concerns.
The union alleges that maladministration and corruption are rife at hospitals across the province.

NEHAWU’s provincial chairperson, Sello Mafela, said they will not hand over their demands until they are addressed by officials.
