Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz said there was no doubt that a booster shot was “effective in preventing infection, and it significantly reduces the risk of serious and fatal illnesses.”
This expands the pool of those available for the third jab to all those aged 12 and upward.
Starting October, only those immunized with the booster shot, or those who received their second shot less than five months ago, will be eligible for the so-called “green pass” vaccination certificate.
