Africa-Press – South-Africa. Police have arrested six people in connection with a robbery that occurred at a game farm in Tshipise Road, Limpopo two days after Christmas.

During the robbery, five people entered the farmhouse and made off with a Toyota Land Cruiser, 11 firearms, a laptop, South African rands, US dollars, British pounds and other valuables, Limpopo police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said.

On Wednesday night, the investigation led police to four different parts of the Vhembe district – Makushu village, Musekwa village, Tshituni village and Greater Kuduland farm – where the arrests were made, Mojapelo said.

During the operation, police recovered eight firearms as well as South African rands and cash in other currencies. They also confiscated 188 live rounds of ammunition.

The six people, aged 27 to 38, are expected to appear in Musina Magistrate’s Court soon on charges of house robbery, unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition, and possession of suspected stolen properties.
