Africa-Press – South-Africa. President Cyril Ramaphosa has announced the appointment of SAPS CFO Puleng Dimpane as the country’s new police commissioner.
General Fannie Masemola has been placed on precautionary suspension as he faces criminal charges in connection with an irregularly awarded multi-million rand Medicare24 tender.
The president said that Thursday’s announcement is in response to Masemola’s appearance in the Pretoria Magistrates this week.
