Ramaphosa acknowledges SA's socio-economic challenges, vows reparation post-elections

Africa-Press – South-Africa. The ANC has continued to come under fire for failing to address a range of socio-economic challenges faced by the country’s citizens.

African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa says the governing party is not out of touch with the harsh reality faced by millions of South Africans.

He was addressing thousands of supporters during the party’s Siyanqoba rally at FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Ramaphosa’s remarks come as the ANC continues to come under fire for failing to address various socio-economic challenges.

Service delivery issues, failing infrastructure, high unemployment, corruption at State institutions, and poorer investor sentiment are some indicators used to rate the ANC’s performance since it took over in 1994.

As the ANC faces its toughest elections since it came into power, Ramaphosa assured supporters that the party would continue to address shortfalls in government post-elections.
