Africa-Press – South-Africa. Two security guards who are responsible for guarding various clinics in the Gert Sibande District Municipality have been arrested for allegedly stealing and selling medication, according to the Mpumalanga Hawks.
Khethiwe Moloi, 49, and Dumisani Aaron Mahlasela, 61, appeared in the Evander Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday and were each released on R3 000 bail.

Moloi and Mahlasela were arrested on Tuesday after the Hawks received information that a security guard in the area was selling medication, spokesperson Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi said.
When Moloi’s house was searched, officials allegedly found various types of medication and surgical gloves.
Sekgotodi added:
The medication included contraceptives, flu medication and painkillers.
The two guards have been charged with the contravention of the Medical Act.
The case was postponed to 14 July for further investigation.
