Africa-Press – South-Africa. The Mpumalanga High Court in Mbombela has found a 34-year-old man guilty of raping four women and girls over a four-year period.
On Monday, Thokozani Prince Mazibuko was found guilty of four counts of rape, three counts of house robbery, and one count of theft.

He raped the women and girls, including a teenager who was seven months pregnant, in Nkomazi between 2013 and 2017.
In January 2013, Mazibuko and an accomplice broke into a house in Langeloop. They held a 16-year-old girl and her mother hostage, raped the girl in front of her mother and stole a mobile phone.

Later that same month, Mazibuko and two accomplices broke into another house in Boschfontein.
They found a 16-year-old girl who was seven months pregnant and took her to bushes, where they gang-raped her. She was barely able to walk to a nearby house for help after the incident, said police spokesperson, Brigadier Selvy Mohlala.
The following month, Mazibuko broke into a house in Langeloop, where he found a 25-year-old woman with her children, aged one and seven. He raped the woman in front of her children before fleeing the scene.
In January 2017, Mazibuko raped a 19-year-old woman in Boschfontein after robbing her while she was walking along a street. Mazibuko and an accomplice robbed her of cash and her cellphone.
Police arrested Mazibuko in January 2020 in connection with a separate rape case in Matsulu, which was yet to be finalised. He was then linked to the four cases.
Mohlala said Mazibuko never revealed the identities of his accomplices.
He is expected to be sentenced on Thursday.
