Africa-Press – South-Africa. The disciplinary hearing of Theuns du Toit, who urinated on a fellow Stellenbosch University student’s belongings, wrapped up on Thursday.
Du Toit appeared before the university’s Central Disciplinary Committee (CDC) for allegedly violating the student code of conduct.
He was caught on camera urinating on first-year agriculture student Babalo Ndwayana’s desk, laptop and books.
On Thursday, the CDC sat for the second day of the hearing, at the university’s Admin B building.
Ndwayana, the victim, was absent, after he walked out of proceedings on Wednesday, claiming bias by the committee chair.

Despite the walkout, the CDC continued its work, wrapping up with arguments from Du Toit’s legal representatives.
Eight witnesses are said to have appeared before the CDC.
Stellenbosch University spokesperson Martin Viljoen confirmed the hearing concluded on Thursday.
He said:
“We understand that there are some complexities, and the CDC indicated they will be giving us a written judgment on their decision,” he said.
