Africa-Press – South-Africa. The South African Weather Service has issued extremely high fire danger warnings for the south-western Bushveld of Limpopo, areas of the North West, as well as the central and north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

The weather in your region:

It will be hot in places in the north of Gauteng, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Cloudy conditions will prevail in the east of Mpumalanga at first, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and warm but fine in the west.

It will be hot in places on the Lowveld.

Limpopo

will experience cloudy conditions along the escarpment in the morning, otherwise it will be partly cloudy and warm to hot but fine in the west and south-west.

The North West will be partly cloudy and warm to hot.

The Free State will be partly cloudy and warm to hot, with afternoon showers and thundershowers in the south and along the Lesotho border.

It will be fine along the coast of the Northern Cape and adjacent interior where it will be cloudy at first with morning fog patches.

It will be partly cloudy and warm to hot with afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers in the east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly.

The Western Cape will be cloudy along the south coast at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with morning fog patches over the interior, becoming fine in the west by the afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh along the west coast in the afternoon.

The expected UVB sunburn index is high.

Cloudy conditions will prevail over the western half of the Eastern Cape at first, with morning fog patches in the south.

It will be partly cloudy and cool with isolated thundershowers over the interior from late morning until late afternoon.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly.

The eastern half of the province will be cloudy and cool with morning fog patches south of the escarpment.

Isolated thundershowers are expected in the afternoon, but there will be scattered showers along the escarpment and to the east of Queenstown.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly.

KwaZulu-Natal

will experience morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm conditions.

Isolated showers are expected over the southern half of the province, but scattered showers will occur in the extreme south.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
