Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The Governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, has directed the mayor of Juba City Council, Michael Allah-Jabu to focus on building road networks in Juba.
The governor directed the mayor to continue with the road expansion initiative to decongest Juba City from previous traffic jams.
Governor Adil also directed the leadership of Juba City Council to continue with its intensified crackdown on criminals who are causing havoc in the city and urged Allah Jabu to collaboratively work with the state’s security agencies in curbing the vice.
For the anticipated Papal visit to the country, Adil further directed the mayor to continue with its preparatory efforts, especially on keeping Juba City clean, green and safe as the state awaits the Papal landmark visit to the country. Allah Jabu assured Adil of the council’s readiness to work tirelessly in delivering the state’s leadership on strategic directives and cooperatively work with various government institutions to discharge his designated duties
