Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Secretary of Vatican State, has advised the seminarians at St Paul Major Seminary, Gudele good priests.
Parolin who held a mass at the St Paul Major Seminary on his fourth day official visit in South Sudan, told the seminarians to utilize their time at the institution.
“The church is radical in every culture, in every continent, in every country. It assumes also the culture, customs, richness in the country. But at the same time, it is only one family. At the centre of this family, there is our Holy Father,” Cardinal Pietro said.
“This is the time of your formation, take advantage of this time. This is my suggestion, it’s my advice. It is my counsel to you. Take advantage of this time of your formation because it will not come back.”
The Cardinal yesterday held a mass at Dr John Garang Mausoleum in which he delivered the message of peace to the people of South Sudan and leaders.
He is expected to visit Catholic University and Usratuna before his departure for Rome later in the afternoon.
