Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Ninety-one South Sudanese students have been admitted for various courses at technical and professional public institutions in the Kingdom of Morocco.
According to the Ministry of General Education and Instruction (MOGEI), the students are part of the beneficiaries of the scholarship offered by the Royal Moroccan government to deserving students from South Sudan to pursue various courses.
The candidates were selected based on their applications for scholarships for technical and vocational training. The programme will run for the full academic year 2023–2024.
Successful candidates will have to enroll for basic French classes in Juba before the commencement of the programme later in June 2023.
The candidates, however, will have to foot the cost of the French classes and transport to Morocco.
Each beneficiary will be entitled to a $125 per month stipend, regardless of the cycle, nature of training, and duration.
Meanwhile, each student will have to foot any costs associated with registration, local transportation, and learning materials.
