Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Central Equatoria Cabinet Ministers have approved SSP 100 million for 100 state MPs for their recess.
This was during the state regular Council of Ministers meeting on Thursday. This means each lawmaker will pocket one million pounds.
The cabinet directed the state Ministers of Cabinet Affairs and Finance to implement the resolution.
“On the memo presented by the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, the honorable Council of Ministers approved SSP 100 million for 100 MPs going on recess and directed the Honorable Ministers of Cabinet Affairs and Finance to implement the resolution,” said Adruga Mabe, the spokesperson of the Central Equatoria government.
