Africa-Press – South-Sudan. An exiled outspoken South Sudan activist has said President Salva Kiir Mayardit and First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny have failed to delivery to the citizens, and that they are ‘lords of looting’ with no plan for the future of the world’s youngest country.
“President Kiir, Dr. Riek Machar and their cartels or conmen can’t fix the Country for the last 16 years. Instead of bring the Country together; they continue to divide us more,” Activist Wani Michael said.
The exiled outspoken activist who has fled the country following threats from the government’s security agencies said there is “so much chaos in the country and looting everything available.
Michael wondered as to “What miracle can they (Kiir and Machar) perform to undo all these things!”
He said the two men have become lords of looting and corruption with no record of service delivery who also have no vision for the future of the world’s youngest country.
“They’ve spearheaded looting and corruption, they became the lords of looting and corruption with zero service delivery,” he said.
“They’re visionless and nothing good will come out of them. Citizens are innocently murdered near military facilities; they’ve totally failed in their sovereign responsibility of protecting the citizens,” he added.
He said the “IGAD should give us a break than pushing these looters to illegitimately rule us for the next three years. They lost the people’s legitimacy long time and the National Dialogue confirmed this reality.”
