Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Western Equatoria governor, General Alfred Futuyo on Monday officiated the oathtaking ceremony of newly appointed Commissioner of the state Revenue Authority, James Richard Ramadan.
Addressing officials, General Futuyo reportedly urged state government officials to cooperate with the Revenue Authority boss in terms of tax collection for development.
Mr. Futuyo also called on his cabinet officials not to be involved “in the politics of division but joint hands and exercise good working relationship for service delivery”, local media reported.
Meanwhile the newly appointed revenue commissioner reportedly assured the state of his commitment to safeguard taxpayers’ money.
Mr Ramadan was appointed in earlier Ocotber by the Governor of Western Equatoria Gen. Futuyo.
