Africa-Press – South-Sudan. South Sudan’s former chief of general staff of the army turned rebel, Gen. Paul Malong Awan, has denied allegations that he has thrown in a towel, apologized and denounced rebellion.In response to two letters that went into circulation earlier this week, the South Sudan United Front/Army under the leadership of Malong has issued two condemnations letter denying the allegations and calling on public to downplay what they term as a “a fake propaganda tool” designed by “well known Sycophant” to defame Gen. Paul Malong.
“It has come to our attention that there are two letters which are circulating on social media that SSUF/A has left SSOMA and it has asked President Kiir Mayardit to come to Juba. That is a white lie. SSUF/A is still part of SSOMA. You have to disregard those two Letters. The letter was written by the well known Sycophant and Gluttony person. Thanks. Soon we shall release the official letter stay turned.” SSUF/A wrote on their Facebook page and continued to release the statement below.
