Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Peter Sunder Ohide is the new Director General in the Ministry of Education for Eastern Equatoria State.
Governor Louis Lobong on Monday relieved Gabriel Oliha Omuang and immediately replaced him with Ohide.
No reason was given for the removal of the director general.
However, Lobong cited Schedule B (6) of the transitional constitution of the Republic of South Sudan 2011 as amended and Article 99(2a) of the transitional constitution of Eastern Equatoria State 2011 to defend the order.
Also, he promoted the newly appointed director general from Grade 2 to Grade 1.
