Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Kator FC has announced the signing of Bright Stars’ forward, Makueth Wol.

The 21-year-old forward reportedly joined Loberas on a free transfer after his contract with his previous club expired. According to the information from the club’s social media page, Wol signed a four-year contract.

“We signed Makueth Wol Akeen as a new player (striker) for Kator FC. Let’s welcome the boy and show him some love,” the statement partly reads.

Wol played for Uganda’s Mbarara City FC as well as the South Sudan national men’s senior team.

He has been practising with Atlabara FC in Juba while healing from an injury he sustained a few years ago, media reports reveal.

Kator is one of Juba’s local clubs and the Ramadan Cup champions. The City Review attempted to acquire more details about this transfer from the club’s secretary-general, but his phone went unanswered.

Elsewhere, Malakia FC, are said to be closing on a deal to add former Bright Stars holding midfielder Thok Kuoang and Arua-based club Onduparaka FC’s Tabu Vitalis to their teams.

Sources indicate the two players have agreed to terms with unknown perks on the table.

Kuoang played for Sudanese teams Hai Elwadi Nyala and Al Hilal Kaduguli, as well as the senior national team, Bright Stars.

Tabu Vitalis, a former player for Arua-based Onduparaka FC, wore the number 7 jersey and was a powerful player for the Caterpillars.

He also played for SC Villa and URA FC, both of which are Ugandan-based clubs.

The two players will undoubtedly make Malakia FC one the most remarkable title contenders after losing it to Munuki FC the previous season.

South Sudan’s transfer window has now entered its 12th day.
