Africa-Press – South-Sudan. A prominent critic of South Sudanese president has slammed the ruling Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) party of having the audacity to organize public rallies while ethnic violence continue across the country.
In a statement, Wani Michael, a harsh critic of J1, said the ruling party is practicing witchcraft as it conduct rallies for elections while unable to bring the violence across the country to an end.
“As our citizens at Nimule and the Greater Madi corridor areas are busy killing themselves. Innocent lives lost and the Country is still mourning. Painfully, the ruling Party SPLM had the audacity to organize that rally in Juba,” he wrote on Twitter.
“In our African culture and norms, such practices are regarded as witchcraft and dancing on the heads of the death,” he added.
He urged the ruling party to value the lives of the citizens otherwise none of the people across the country will vote for it.
“Can we start to value lives like seriously, otherwise who’ll vote for your doing nothing Party,” he said.
He further stressed that “People’s lives must be the top priority of the government but what do they know!”
