Africa-Press – South-Sudan. In a new presidential decree, Hon. Mawien Bulabek has been appointed as the new undersecretary for the Ministry of ICT & PS.

In a separate decree, the President promoted two senior officers in the National Security Service (NSS).

Former Director General of the National Communication Authority, Brig. Gen. Napoleon Adok Gai, was promoted to the rank of Major General. Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Gier Ngok Ring Thik was elevated to the rank of Lieutenant General.

Lt. Gen. Gier Ngok has also been appointed Deputy Director General of the NSS-General Intelligence Bureau (GIB), replacing Lt. Gen. Gregory Deng Kuac, who was appointed last Friday as the new Undersecretary at the Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs.
