Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The Ministry of Labour has issued a public circular warning citizens and foreign nationals against engaging with unauthorized individuals offering labour-related services at Juba International Airport.
In a statement dated April 14, 2026 and signed by Undersecretary Deng Kenjok, the Ministry said, “the Ministry has not deployed any officer or representative to Juba International Airport for work permit, labour inspection, fee collection, or any other labour-related services.”
The circular adds that all official services are handled through formal structures, stating that, “all work permit applications, payments, fees, and other labour-related processes are conducted exclusively through the official offices and authorized channels of the Ministry of Labour.”
The Ministry warned employers, stakeholders, and the public against making payments or seeking services at the airport, saying, “no work permit or labour-related payments should be made at Juba International Airport.”
It also advised that, “any person requiring labour services is advised to process such matters directly through the Ministry of Labour.”
The directive follows growing concerns over fraud, with individuals reportedly impersonating Ministry officials to collect money or offer unauthorized services outside the legal framework.
