Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Ministry of finance and planning has proposed SSP 2.5 trillion budget for the financial year 2023/2024.
The budget, however, has a deficit of SSP 82.5 billion, according to government spokesperson, Michael Makuei.
The budget was presented to the cabinet by the minister of finance Dior Tong Ngor during a weekly cabinet meeting, this Friday
This year’s budget is an increase of SSP1.1 trillion from last year’s allocation.
the new budget will include factor in the new salary for civil servants, according to Makuei.
