Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Corporation, Dr Chol Deng Thon Abel (PhD) yesterday confirmed the arrival of finishing materials for the completion of the Nile Petroleum Corporation’s headquarters.

The NilePet building is one of the tallest buildings emerging in the city and is expected to host the Joint Operating Companies (JOCs), Joint Ventures (JVs) and all the subsidiaries of the corporation.

Speaking to the media at the premise of the NilePet Building, Dr Chol Deng revealed that the administration had received 15 containers meant for finishing.

“We are happy to have received 15 containers of finishing materials and a team of senior Chinese engineers from China.

The engineers are coming to do the finishing work on the building, and 150 containers are already in Mombasa Port, and will soon arrive in Juba. We are committed to finishing the Nile Petroleum Building within the shortest time possible, “Dr Chol Deng said.

The Deputy Managing Director of Zhonghao Overseas Co. Ltd, Yang Yanfeng, told the NilePet media that they expect some of the materials for finishing pretty soon adding that his company is ready to finish the project on time.

“We are happy to receive some of the materials for finishing.

” “This is the last part of our project, and we are going to finish this project on time. We expect some more containers from China soon to finish the work,” said Mr Yang Yangfeng.

The administration of NilePet has stressed its commitment to making sure that the headquarters building is accomplished within the second half of the year, 2022.

Dr Chol Deng has also reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring the finishing is done so that Nile Petroleum Corporation’s expenses on rentals are directed to other developmental programs.

The completion of the building is the top priority of the administration under the able leadership of Dr Chol Deng, in addition to that of its operatives.

Since Dr Chol Deng was reinstated as managing director last year, the construction of the building and refinery has been closely monitored, which has sped up the construction processes in both projects.
