Africa-Press – South-Sudan. South Sudan’s Minister of Peace-Building Stephen Par Kuol on Wednesday afternoon declared himself the interim chairman of the main armed opposition Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO).
Speaking at a press conference following what his group described as a leadership consultation meeting, Par also named Lasoba Lodoro as interim deputy chairman and Agok Makur, a former deputy finance minister, as secretary-general.
