Africa-Press – South-Sudan. A center for fostering peace and economic empowerment was handed over to the leadership of the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) Youth Union in Pibor town on Thursday.

The Union Chairperson, Canan Lilcho, told Radio Tamazuj that the project was a game-changer.

“Today, we received a youth center from DT Global. This center will empower the youth through training on life skills and leadership. We will also lease it to NGOs which want to provide training,” he stated.

GPAA Information Minister Oleyo Akwer Nyalus said they were excited by the handover and urged the youth to use it to their advantage.

Constructed by DT Global, with funding from USAID, the center has three offices and a 100-seater conference hall.
