Africa-Press – South-Sudan. South Sudan’s Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi has pledged SSP 3 million as part of funds for the construction of the Warrap State secretariat building.
A youth, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the Vice President pledged this during a fundraising occasion at Nyakuron Cultural Center in Juba on Sunday.
“The Vice President for the services cluster pledged SSP 3 million as part of the construction of the state’s secretariat premises. As youth of the state, we are grateful for his contribution,” he told Sudans Post by phone.
Pledges also come from several government officials who graced the occasion.
Warrap State governor, Kuol Kuol Muor said he assumed an office under a tree.
In recent years, Warrap state has been plagued by conflicts in form of communal violence, revenge killings among youth and the prolonged fights with Abyei.
