“Jobs are not there and it’s rare, we train people to have some skills so that you can go and look for money”, he said. Rubena said that two weeks ago he visited the office of Action Girls Africa and he saw the results of the funding was positive.

“I see women making this nice hand bags and somehow it uplifted my spirit, as a person I was able to say something good for the organization forsome funding that they had received”, said Rubena.

He further appreciated Action Girls Africa (AGA) for initiating the training for the women of Jondoru-Kasire. Ruben urged other Organizations to support vocational training in order to activate the community to make money through handcraft work.

Emmanuel Ruben Matayo, who represented the teachers said that when somebody is busy in handcraft activities, it would help to avoid causing trouble within the community.

“If you are busy in this kinds of activities, which time you will get for gossiping and causing violence”, he said.

Matayo urged the citizens to have the mind of exporting commodities to other parts of the world. Adding that people should create jobs for themselves rather than looking for jobs.
