HUNDREDS of CCM Members endorse President Samia for 2025 Presidential Race in Tabora Region, hundreds of members of the ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) have come forward to offer their support for President Samia Suluhu Hassan in her bid for re-election in the upcoming 2025 general elections.

The show of support comes after President Samia officially collected nomination forms from the party on August 10, 2025, indicating her intention to run for a second term.

The strong backing from CCM members in Tabora reflects the growing momentum behind President Samia’s leadership, with many party members hailing her achievements in infrastructure development, education reforms, and efforts to improve healthcare across the country.

The gathering in Tabora served as both a show of political unity and grassroots enthusiasm for her continued presidency.

Among those endorsing President Samia is the Tabora Regional Commissioner, Paul Chacha, who emphasized his commitment, along with that of the residents, to continue supporting the President’s vision and leadership. He commended her dedication to national unity, economic progress, and social welfare, describing her leadership as inclusive and forward-looking.

President Samia, who became Tanzania’s first female president in 2021 following the passing of her predecessor, has since earned both local and international praise for stabilizing the country and steering it through economic and health challenges, particularly during the post-pandemic recovery phase. Her administration has focused heavily on transparency, investment promotion, and expanding public services.

As the 2025 elections draw nearer, such endorsements are seen as crucial in cementing internal party support and mobilizing voters across regions. Tabora’s overwhelming support adds to the growing list of regions expressing confidence in President Samia’s leadership, suggesting that her candidacy will be a strong force within CCM and the broader electorate.
