Ndejembi vows to deliver key projects in Chamwino

Africa-Press – Tanzania. CCM parliamentary candidate for Chamwino constituency, Mr Deogratius Ndejembi, has pledged to push for the completion of major projects in health, education and infrastructure if re-elected in the October General Election.

Launching his campaign at Nzali Village in Chamwino District on Monday, Mr Ndejembi said he would prioritise the 14.5bn/- Nzali Bridge project, which aims to ease transport challenges in Itiso and Chilonwa divisions, particularly during the rainy season.

“The bridge is a crucial link for residents as it will ease transportation of farm produce, improve access to health services and facilitate education. My priority is to see this project completed on time to strengthen connectivity across the divisions,” he said.

Mr Ndejembi noted that the bridge was initiated during his previous term, and he is seeking another mandate to ensure its completion for the benefit of the people.

Mr Ndejembi added that the implementation of such mega projects reflects the commitment of the CCM Presidential Candidate, President Samia Suluhu Hassan, to bring development to the people of Chamwino.

“We shall rally behind President Samia Suluhu Hassan because her achievements are visible. Since she took office, Chamwino residents have benefited significantly, particularly in the education sector,” he said.

Mr Ndejembi pointed out that while the constituency previously had only three secondary schools across its 14 wards, progress under President Samia’s leadership has been evident. “Today, we have a boarding secondary school in Zajiro Ward, as well as new dormitories and classrooms in Chilonwa Ward,” he said.

In the health sector, he highlighted key achievements including a modern health centre and an ambulance in Dabalo Ward, and a well-established health centre in Itiso Division, all delivered under the Sixth Phase Government.

For his part, CCM Deputy Secretary General, Mr John Mongela, urged Tanzanians to turn out in large numbers to cast their votes on October 29, stressing that participation is key to strengthening democracy.
