PM Inspects Damaged Ward Office Warns Youth Against Violence

Africa-Press – Tanzania. PRIME Minister Dr Mwigulu Nchemba has today, December 5, 2025, inspected the Kisesa Ward Executive Office, Mwanza Region, which was damaged during violence that occurred on October 29, 2025.

During the visit, Dr. Mwigulu emphasized that every Tanzanian has a duty to love and protect their country, stating that Tanzanians should not be influenced by people who do not wish well for the nation.

“If someone tells you to destroy public property, they intend to harm Tanzania. Reject them. Their children and relatives do not live here in Tanzania, but they exploit the lives of Tanzanians for business,” said the Prime Minister.

He further added that President Samia Suluhu Hassan had already forgiven the youths involved in the unrest, noting that some participated without understanding the consequences of their actions.

He stated that it is not expected that these youths will repeat such inappropriate behavior.
