Africa-Press – Tanzania. ZANZIBAR President Dr Hussein Mwinyi has sworn-in Eng. Zena Ahmed Said as Secretary of the Revolutionary Council and Chief Secretary today (January 2, 2021).
Engineer Zena is replacing Dr Abdulhamid Yahya who has retired from public service.
Various national leaders including the Vice President Hemed Abdallah, retired Secretary of the Revolutionary Council and Chief Secretary leader Dr Abdulhamid Yahya and the Speaker Zubeir Maulid attended the event.
President Mwinyi appointed Eng Zena Ahmed on the 31st of December, 2020.
Prior to her new post, Eng Zena served as the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy in Tanzania Mainland.
