Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Dr Faustine Ndugulile has said the ministry aims at improving government ICT systems to reduce public complaints while protecting user’s online information.
He said the improvement of the communication technology must also go hand in hand with strengthening of the ICT systems to avoid being hacked by people with evil intentions.
Speaking in Dodoma today the minister said the objective of improving the systems is to enable users to use them correctly while achieving the intended goals.
The minister has said it’s the ministry’s responsibility to ensure that it controls malicious individuals who abuse ICT systems, adding that the government has already noticed gross misuse of technology.
