Africa-Press – Tanzania. Representatives of Chinese Business Chamber of Tanzania have paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu at the State House in Chamwino, Dodoma, Wednesday and discussed various issues pertaining to investments.
According to a State House statement issued today, the business community assured the Head of State that it will cooperate with the sixth phase government in the areas of investment and people’s welfare.
They have assured that over 800 Chinese companies are ready to invest in Tanzania.
The targeted areas, according to the statement, are mobile phone industry, human medicine, cars and industrial parks.
Another area they are ready to invest is education sector as they plan to establish a programme which will enable Tanzanians to study at various to varsities and colleges in China.
