Africa-Press – Tanzania. The Registrar office has received application for the registration of new political party known as Umoja Party.
A Registrar’s public notice published in the local newspapers on Monday stated that the party has already submitted an application for provisional registration in accordance with Political Parties Act Cap 258.
“Anyone who has objections to the name, symbol, colour of the party or any other matter regarding the party, should submit his or her to the registrar office within 21 days from the date of the advertisement,” reads part of the Registrar of Political Parties notice appeared in the newspapers.
