Africa-Press – Tanzania. A 35-old-man Augustine Moshi alias Mtorobo has committed suicide in the Mfuruashe Village in Mengwe Ward in Rombo District, Kilimanjaro, shortly after allegedly killing his wife, Anastasia Augustine by stabbing her with a sharp object on the neck.
Rombo District Commissioner, Hamisi Maiga confirmed the incident, saying the terrible incident was linked to jealousy.
DC told reporters that the man who was Urua Chini hamlet chairman and a famous master of ceremony MC)) at the area committed the incident on Monday (November 8, 2021) at the Mfuruashe Village in Mengwe Ward.
The diseases are being survived by three children.
According to the District Commissioner, a week before the event, the 31-year-old mother submitted her complaints against the husband to the gender desk in Rombo District and added that the hearing of the matter was in the pipeline.
“Last week the man was brought to the gender desk by his wife, the matter was solved, but it seems like it was not over…” DC added.
While the funeral arrangements are still underway, The bodies of the deceased have been preserved at the designated Huruma District Hospital.
