Africa-Press – Tanzania. IN a bid to maintain strong market presence, Serengeti Breweries Limited has embarked on launching the locally made Guinness Smooth beer for its customers in the Southern highlands.
The initiative also offers huge opportunity to suppliers and retailers to generate more revenue through the distribution and sale of the beer brand in the region.
“This smooth beer is produced here in Tanzania at our Moshi brewery,” said the SBL Innovation Manager, Bertha Vedastus.
She added, this is the huge opportunity for entrepreneurs to grasp in distributing and selling the locally made beer brand that also sources most of the raw materials in the country.
She said the Guinness family in Tanzania was proud to introduce a new beer brand in the southern zone following successful launches of the brand in Dar es Salaam and northern regions.
Guinness Smooth is the latest addition to the celebrated Guinness family.
It boasts a distinctly smooth and refreshing taste, with the perfect balance of flavors that are ideal for enjoyment while catching up with friends, anytime, anywhere.
“Southern highlands’ residents have always been loyal to SBL’s brands, for which we are very grateful and we really value their unwavering support to us.

According to her, Guinness has an enviably long tradition of brewing extraordinary beers, churning out full-flavored, striking and uniquely satisfying beers since 1759.
