Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE former Young Africans player Simon Msuva has blessed his past club saying they are on the right track to lift the season’s NBC Premier League title.

Msuva said this recently when he paid a courtesy call at the club’s official training camp, Avic Town in Kigamboni and had a precious moment to exchange words with the players.

“I am happy to meet with some players whom we played together before like Deus Kaseke while others are no longer playing here. To me, it is a pride to come here and cherish with you.

“I know that as players, you encounter several challenges but you need to find amicable ways on how to solve such problems. I pray for you to win the premier league championship and other contests you compete.

“When I am in Morocco, I follow all the games played by Yanga because they are a side which made me to move one step further and let known outside the country,” said the Wydad Casablanca player.

In another development, Yanga’s holding midfielder Khalid Aucho has brushed aside ongoing claims that he is planning to leave the club saying he has a two-year contract to respect.

Lately, social media outlets have been awash with claims that Aucho nicknamed ‘Football Doctor’ has been placed on Simba radars as such; they can hijack him to join the reigning champions.

“I still have a valid two-year contract with Yanga as such; all rumours linking me to leave the club should never be entertained at this time unless I finish my tenure here,” he said.

The Ugandan midfielder then seized the platform to assure Yanga members and fans that he is going nowhere and that they should never trust information disseminated by untrusted sources.

Aucho landed in the country recently and has already teamed up with his colleagues as they prepare to travel to Mbeya for their seventh league fixture against Mbeya Kwanza.

He missed the 1-1 draw stamped at Ilulu Stadium in Lindi versus Namungo which saw Yanga levelling the deficit through a controversial spot-kick which many pundits describing it as a poor judgement by the referee.

However, Yanga lead the premier league table with 16 points from six matches collected after recording five straight win and one stalemate tie as they intensify their target to win the silverware at the end of the marathon.

Until now, Feisal Salum is the top goal scorer for the Jangwani street giants with three goals while striker Fiston Mayele and winger Jesus Moloko have each netted two goals apiece.

Heritier Makambo is yet to open his goal account in the premier league and under the tutelage of Tunisian trainer Nasreddine Nabi, he prefers deploying one striker Mayele hence Makambo usually comes from the bench.
