Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential running mate, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, has explained the party’s unwavering intention to complete various projects in the country, including the improvement of transportation in Dar es Salaam city.

Among the issues he mentioned was the completion of the ongoing construction of infrastructure for the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system.

Dr Nchimbi made the remarks earlier on Thursday during a campaign rally held at Machinga Complex in Dar es Salaam, noting that the third phase of the project will cover Azikiwe–Maktaba Road (0.95 km), Bibi Titi–Nyerere–Airport Road (17.92 km), and Kariakoo–Uhuru–TAZARA Road (4.46 km).

Another promise he made was that if the party wins in the upcoming general election, it will also construct a flyover at the Fire intersection.

Moreover, he said that CCM is determined to continue to strengthen healthcare services in the country by building a new hospital at Mnazi Mmoja and a health center in Mchikichini Ward.

Dr Nchimbi also pledged that in the next five years, the party will improve education services in Ilala by constructing a new secondary school and adding new classrooms at Azania Secondary School.
