Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Minister of the Defence and National Service, Elias Kwandikwa has said the cost of hiring per one SUMA JKT guard ranges from 590,000/- to 944,000/- per month depending on various factors including weapons and location.
SUMA JKT Guard Ltd is a The National Service Corporation Sole (SUMAJKT) subsidiary company which specializes in providing guard services in public and private institutions or individuals.
Mr Kuandikwa revealed the figure at Tuesday’s Q and A session in the Parliament, Dodoma when he was responding to MP Angelina Malembeka who sought to know how citizens can get guard service from the Company.
The Minister elaborated by saying that SUMAJKT can render the security service for unarmed guard at 590,000/- (VAT inclusive), armed guard (719,000/- VAT inclusive) and in the mining areas, the service is available for 944,000 (VAT inclusive) per guard. He insisted that those who need such service should adhere to the terms and conditions.
