Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Tanzanian government has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening ties with the private sector to accelerate industrial growth and economic development.
This was reached in a discussion between the Deputy Minister for Finance, Laurent Luswetula, with a delegation from Plasco on the role of industry in boosting the national economy.
The Plasco team, led by General Manager Dario Manlubatan and Marketing Manager Edith James, met the deputy minister at the ministry’s sub-office in Dar es Salaam today, March 18, 2026.
During their discussion, Mr Luswetula assured the delegation that the government will continue working closely with the private sector by addressing investment challenges and maintaining a conducive business environment.
On its part, Plasco expressed readiness to partner with the government in strategic projects, particularly by providing expertise and innovation to strengthen water and gas infrastructure and improve service delivery to citizens.
