Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE 2021 Diplomatic Golf Tournament yesterday got a huge boost from Fly Dubai agency who donated three return air tickets as motivational prize for the event’s winners.
The donation took place yesterday in Dar es Salaam ahead of the two-day event to be staged at Kilimanjaro Golf Wildlife Estate (Kiligolf) course at Usa River in Arusha region from September 24 to 25th .
Reinafrida Rwezaura, who is the coordinator of the event organised by Songea Mississipi Foundation (SOMI), thanked the air ticketing agency for their timely support.
“We thank you very much for the donation and coming on board to join other sponsors for the much-anticipated event,”
“We will award two business class tickets to the winners in both men and women categories and the other Economy class ticket will go to the lucky winner,” said Rwezaura.
She called upon other firms to show up and support the event that attracts diplomats.
Barani Peters, the Sales manager of Fly Dubai said his agency is delighted to be associated with one of the biggest golf events in the country.
He had also promised for a continued support, looking for a long partnership with the tournament organisers.
Apart from helping the needy community, the event is also aimed at promoting the sport as well fostering relationship among diplomatic golf players in the country.
More than 150 participants from different countries are expected to tee off in the 18-hole event.
Other event’s sponsors are Insignia Limited, Gran Melia, CRDB Bank , Jibu Water and Lemala.
