Africa-Press – Tanzania. Young Africans have confirmed that Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Morrison has signed a contract to return to the newly crowned Mainland Premier League and Azam Sports Federation Cup winners.
On Sunday afternoon, the club through its verified Twitter handle @ YangaSC1935 alerted its followers that something will happen in the midnight and kept fans guessing on players to be announced.
“#Mwananchi [citizen] guess what will happen tonight at 00.01.” The post was concluded by hashtag which read “#KaaTayari [Stay tuned].
At 00:01 the club shared a short video clip showing the controversial player signing a contract to rejoin Jangwani and Twiga streets based club.
The flamboyant player joined Yanga’s traditional rivals Simba in a controversial transfer leading his new club lodging a case to CAS. The player, finally, was cleared to play for Simba.
In his last days at Simba, with other players, the midfielder played a pivotal role for Simba to qualify for CAF Confederation Cup.
As the Premier League curtain was rolling down, Simba SC announced to have relieved the player from his duties in order to solve his family issues.
The player didn’t returned to the Msimbazi based club until when Young Africans #Yanga unveiled him as their new signing.
