In the last weekend tie, experienced cricketers led by Abbas Adamji made their presence count and ultimately won the match for Jiuzhou Annadil Burhani Club.
Jiuzhou Annadil Burhani Club secured a chance to take the crease first and scored 149/3 in 20 overs, as Adamji and fellow senior cricketers showcased meaningful displays with the bat.
Mufaddal Seifuddin that opened the innings was the batsman with the most runs, ending with 48 runs which included three fours and two sixes.
Despite fellow opening batsman Quresh Karimjee experiencing a brief stay and making his way back with mere six runs, there was little All Season Lions’ bowling unit could do to prevent Jiuzhou Annadil Burhani Club from wrapping the innings with the triple-digit total.
Adnan Karimjee had a good game once he took the crease given the performer scored a 31-ball 34 which consisted of four fours.
There was also a significant contribution from Adamji and skipper Mustafa Lukmanj that brought the innings to an end, making their way back with the bat in hand.
Adamji’s spell witnessed the cricketer score 35 runs not out including three fours and a six, whereas Lukmanji ended with 21 runs not out, blasting two boundaries and a six.
Abubakar Selemani, Rijali Fentu, and skipper Atif Salim took one wicket each for All Season Lions.
Needing 150 runs to come out victorious, All Season Lions fought gallantly, they however lost steam after managing to amass 136/7 in 20 overs.
Youthful player Selemani, opener Mohamed Salim, and John David were the members of All Season Lions’ batting unit to have ended with two-digit figures.
Selemani had the best innings for the losing outfit, given the youngster notched 50 runs, Salim posted 32 runs, and David notched 20 runs.
Firoz Hatim Dahodwala was impressive when Jiuzhou Annadil Burhani Club fielded, as the player had a four-wicket haul whilst claiming crucial wickets of All Season Lions’ opener, Gulraiz Haideri, and Fentu.
Dahodwala ultimately received the Colorflex Player of the Match prize for his exploits.
The defeat has left All Season Lions placed fifth in Group A, having recorded one victory and three losses in the four matches the side has taken part in.

The Petrofuel DC Caravans T20 Cup tournament, which has participating outfits locking horns in 20-over formatted duels, brings together the country’s best cricket teams.
It is the only cricket competition organized by a private entity under the affiliation of TCA and the DC.
The showdown is regarded as the country’s biggest T20 tournament and it is usually held during the last quarter of the year.
The competition is backed by several companies in the country which support the initiative as part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities.
Previous editions of the tournament have been graced by government officials and foreign envoys.
They include former Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Harrison Mwakyembe, his deputy, Juliana Shonza, and Director of Sports in the now Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports, Yusuph Singo.
Former India’s High Commissioner to Tanzania, Sandeep Arya, and top officials from various firms are other dignitaries that have graced the competition’s previous editions.
