Africa-PressTanzania. THE National Service (JKT) has announced the names of Form Six graduates from Tanzania Mainland who are supposed to join training as per the requirement of the law.

Speaking at a news conference at JKT headquarters in Dodoma on Friday, JKT acting head of administration, Colonel Hassan Mabena said the graduates are supposed to report to their assigned respective camps from June 1st to 10 this year.

He read the announcement on behalf of the newly appointed Chief of National Service (CNS), Brigadier General, Rajabu Mabele.

He said the named students will report to Rwamkoma (Mara), Msange (Tabora), Ruvu and Kibiti (Pwani), Mpwapwa and Makutupora (Dodoma), Mafinga (Iringa), Mlale (Ruvuma) as well as Mgambo and Maramba in Tanga.

Other camps are Makuyuni (Arusha), Bulombora, Kanembwa and Mtabila (Kigoma), Itaka (Songwe) Luwa and Milundikwa (Rukwa), Nachingwea (Lindi) and Oljoro JKT in Arusha.

“The Form Six graduates with physical disabilities are supposed to report at the Ruvu Camp in Coast Region which is designed with all needed infrastructure to accommodate them,” said Col Mabena, adding that the list of the students and their assigned camps have been posted to the website www. jkt.go.tz.

He asked the students to visit the website for information on the allocations. Col Manbena said during the training, the graduates will be trained on patriotism, national unity, life skills, vocational skills and preparedness to serve the nation at all times.

Equally, he said the recruits are supposed to report with dark blue shorts, green vests, sport shoes, light blue bed sheets, socks, track suit and fare to and from their allocated camps.
