Africa-Press – Tanzania. Registration for the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager International Marathon 2026 is set to close soon as organisers warn slots are filling fast ahead of the March 22 event in Moshi.
Participants who have not registered are urged to do so immediately via www.kilimanjaromarathon.com or MIXX by YAS before capacity is reached.
Organisers said entry numbers will again be capped across all three races — the Kilimanjaro Premium Lager 42km Full Marathon, YAS 21km Kili Half Marathon and CRDB 5km Fun Run — to comply with World Athletics safety standards and ensure proper hydration, medical support and a smooth race experience. No entries will be accepted once registration closes.
Runners have also been advised to collect race numbers early at designated centres: Dar es Salaam at Mlimani City Mall (March 13–15), Arusha at Kibo Palace Hotel (March 17–18) and Moshi at Moshi Cooperative University (March 19–21).
This year’s main sponsors include Kilimanjaro Premium Lager (42km), YAS (21km) and CRDB Bank (5km Fun Run), supported by partners such as Kilimanjaro Water, TPC Sugar, GardaWorld Security, Toyota Tanzania, Columbia Sportswear, Simba Cement, Harleys Healthcare Solutions and ALAF Limited.
The marathon, organised by Kilimanjaro Marathon Company Limited with international marketing handled by Wild Frontiers Events, will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Moshi Cooperative University.
