Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Magnet Youth Sports Organization (MYSO) said they are in the final stages to sign a partnership contract with Celta de Vigo academy from Spain aimed at exchanging football expertise.
This was disclosed yesterday by the organisation’s chairman Tuntufye Mwambusi in an exclusive interview with the ‘Daily News’ where he insisted that the deal will be signed soon.
“At the moment, we have three coaches from Celta de Vigo academy who have come here to see by themselves on what we do on the ground before we finalise the exercise. “They have been very cooperative and are taking their time to train our young players on critical football skills they need to know depending on their respective ages. “What attracted us to seek working partnership with them was the football philosophy they use bearing in mind that their academy produces quality players who are scrambled by many Spanish clubs,” Mwambusi said.
He added that even their training sessions are conducted with minimal and normal equipment in comparison with rich football academies like those of Real Madrid and other clubs a thing he said will help MYSO to prosper.
“Frankly, they are satisfied with what they have seen from our kids and we are going to use well instructions they have given us in order to improve youth football in the country,” said he.
Furthermore, the MYSO boss narrated that the trio are not only mentoring the upcoming stars but also domestic coaches who work at the organisation are being schooled on how to amicably develop young players.
“We also have plans to send some of our coaches to Spain (Celta de Vigo academy) where they will directly experience what happens on the field and thereafter, it will be a chance for our players to make the trip” said him.
He then seized the opportunity to thank parents and guardians for their immeasurable support they provide to MYSO saying without them, they could not have reached this far.
MYSO is among the famous and best performing domestic youth academies which contribute a lot to the blossoming of football standards in the country as they invest much in grassroots projects.
