Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Parliamentary candidate for Mtumba Constituency through Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), Anthony Mavunde, has outlined three priorities, including improving local road infrastructure in his region if elected.
Mr Mavunde pledged at the launch of the campaigns in Dodoma region on Wednesday, noting that he is determined to break the record of his predecessors by setting a new leadership history in the constituency.
Other areas of priority that he mentioned were ending the water rationing problem by drilling five boreholes, as well as strengthening education by purchasing photocopy machines to facilitate exam production, especially for schools facing such challenges.
“I aim to surpass the records of my former Dodoma Urban MP, Hashim Saggaf, and Job Lusinde. I will do what no MP has ever done in their service,” he said.
Additionally, Mavunde promised to increase the number of schools, including constructing multi-storey schools, and to resolve land disputes affecting Mtumba Constituency to ensure residents live peacefully.
