Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE Deputy Minister for Community Development, Gender, Women, and Special Groups, Engineer Maryprisca Mahundi, has urged students at Monduli College of Community Development to fully commit to their chosen field of study and apply the knowledge they gain to drive positive change in society.

Addressing students of the college, the Deputy Minister said the government needs well-trained community development professionals who demonstrate ethics, dedication, discipline, patriotism, and integrity.

According to the minister, these qualities are essential for producing competent public servants after graduation.

Elaborating, the deputy minister stressed that Community Development studies go beyond the classroom by directly impacting people’s lives by applying the knowledge, skills, and values acquired at the college to actively address social and economic challenges in the communities.

Monduli College’s training is built around four main modules: community mobilization and participation, project planning and management, socio-economic development, and leadership, ethics, and good governance.

Through the modules, the college prepares students to work closely with communities, design and manage development projects efficiently, and promote citizen participation in development initiatives.

The college’s goal is to ensure every graduate possesses the skills and positive mindset needed to deliver tangible results in society
